In 2018, members of the British Forces Germany ladies netball team went on a charity tour of Fiji.

The charity tour was initiated by the sad loss of one of their own to cancer, and keeping her hard work for charity in Fiji alive.

They collected feminine products, hygiene items, clothes, kids toys and anything they felt would make the lives of the Fijians they were visiting that bit more comfortable – Fiji has been a key provider of Commonwealth service personnel within the British Armed Forces for many years, it was time to give something back.

Britannia Lodge No.843 voted to put forward €2,000 to assist the netball team with their travels and also towards the local Fijian charities they were supporting while there.
